Food Highlight - BOD 🍺 ☕️
by Zuzanna Pog
It took me a while to discover BOD. For ages I thought they were a local pub chain that served only beer. Nowadays, I’m more inclined to go for a hot or soft drink over an alcoholic one and BOD fits for that. Not only does BOD have some ace locations, they serve great grub from snacks to meals and (importantly for me) they supply some high-grade tea and coffee. If you’re a tea and coffee lover like me, you might recognise the Manchester based Brew Tea brand in their shops as well as a “proper coffee”. Loose leaf teas, delicious flavours alongside some med-inspired dishes and classic favourites (you can get a banging sausage roll).
BOD is definitely not just a pub, although if it was, it’d still be very good. They’re owned by Burslem based Titanic Brewery, famed for Plum Porter and Steerage. Staffordshire BODs are in Trentham, Stone, Stoke (just food and drink), Lichfield and Stafford.
