• Peter Lymer; Photography Exhibition, until 31/08, Spode Museum. Discover the soul of Stoke-on-Trent through the lens of Peter Lymer. A local photographer in the 70s and 80s who captured the essence of life in Stoke-on-Trent with his unique eye for detail and emotion. His photography is now being seen for the first time in a generation. Free admission. Runs until 31 August 2024.

• Free Outdoor Cinema, 17/08, The Guildhall, Newcastle. Film schedule as follows:
  
  11am: Jungle Book
  1pm: The Goonies
  4pm: The Greatest Showman
  7pm: Dirty Dancing

• Trentham Live Music, 15/08 - 18/08, Trentham Estate. Trentham Live brings four headline acts to the lakeside concert venue. Come rain or shine people come out in force for these events. Fingers crossed for sun which makes the setting particularly stunning. There’s also The Ibiza Orchestra two weeks later on 31/08. Ticket prices vary.
