Capital&Centric's Goods Yard Ready to Welcome First Residents Next Month
This £63 million regeneration project, which is set to create hundreds of local jobs and drive the city's ongoing renaissance, is set to open its 174 apartments this June
Things are now moving along at Goods Yard as Capital&Centric, the team behind the development, has released first-glimpse images inside its 174-apartment community as it prepares to welcome residents from June 2025.
Anyone interested in securing an apartment can attend an open day on Saturday 24 May. First visit the website or email Capital&Centric’s rental company.
At the open day, prospective residents will get a sneak peek around the new neighbourhood and inside the new homes. With the Goods Yard destination already creating a buzz across the city, people are being encouraged to arrive at 10am to secure first dibs on a new apartment before they all get snapped up.
The gorgeous images within this post showcase the range of one, two and three-bedroom homes at the city’s biggest regeneration project. Each apartment incorporates exposed concrete finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows, complemented by high-quality, sustainable Scandi pieces from HAY furniture. Residents will also have access to a gym and fitness studio, mini cinema, co-working space, resident lounge, and private dining facilities.
Set to be managed by Capital&Centric's rental company Ollo, the on-site team aims to create a real community, bringing people together through regular social events. On the Ollo app, residents can chat to neighbours, sign up to socials, nab exclusive resident discounts and report maintenance issues. The Ollo team will also offer additional services including cleaning and pet sitting.
At the heart of the community lies a new public square, where winding pathways weave through lush landscaping, extensive planting and trees, creating perfect spots to meet and relax. The canal jetty is being overhauled into a waterside green spot, with outdoor seating for canalside drinks and dining while a new walkway will bring the Goods Yard square within a 60-second walk of Stoke Railway Station.
Working in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent Council, this £63 million regeneration project is set to create hundreds of local jobs and drive the city's ongoing renaissance. Capital&Centric is now set to transform Newcastle with a trio of projects: Astley Place, Midway and Rye Park. Stay tuned as we bring you more details.
