🕺 A Very Stokie Rave. Gladstone Pottery Museum, 27/06, 4.30pm-10.30pm. Get on your dancing shoes for a very special evening of music in the shadow of Gladstone’s bottle kilns. After making history last summer, Claywork, aka local DJ Jordan Tilstone, is hosting a second exclusive event of trance, techno and schranz. Tickets from £36.25 per person.

🍻 Cheers! It’s the Blue Bell Beer & Music Festival. 29-31/05, The Blue Bell Pub. Get ready for real ales and ciders, live music, and pub grub at Kidsgrove pub The Blue Bell. You can bring your own camping chairs and a £3 commemorative glass is available; plastic glasses are free, or bring your own. Admission free.
🍵 Make Your Own Matcha Bowl & Whisk Holder. 07/06, LoveClay, 1pm-2.30pm. Love matcha? Why not craft a pinch pot matcha bowl, shaping and glazing it entirely in your own style, with Sarah Derbyshire of Cinnamon Ceramics? You’ll also decorate a pre-thrown whisk holder during the workshop. Admission fee includes an iced matcha on arrival. Tickets £39.
🎭 Wilde About Oscar. 09/06, 6pm for 7pm, Middleport Pottery Join award-winning actor Jonathan Goodwin for a sprightly one-man show about Oscar Wilde in a show scripted and adapted by himself. Tickets £16.
