Six months after devastating floods that caused the facility to shut down, Moddershall Oaks is back in style, as it hosted the official opening of its 14 woodland pods today.

At a bright and sunny ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon (22/05), director Penny Watson said, "we wanted to create something fresh and accessible to nature, and while the spa will remain our core business, the pods will give us the space to grow."

All of the pods feature king-sized beds and an ensuite with a Bubble Spa shower along with a mini bar and flatscreen TV. With family pods featuring pull-out beds in the mix, it hopes to expand its market beyond spa-goers.

The pods are also fitted with black-out curtains and air conditioning, and if you’re travelling with baby in tow, cots are available on request.

The preparation pod ideal for wedding parties, as it’s equipped with a row of mirrors where the bridal party can touch up their make-up, along with a full-length mirror and a corner sofa where you can relax with a glass of bubbly.
