🎪 K-Pop Comes to the Circus. 13/02-01/03; shows at 12pm, 3pm & 6pm, Trentham Estate. Join Ringmaster Joel and his cheeky clown companion, La Loka, as they aim to reunite the young dragon with her mother, who is guarded by the noble dragon riders. The story unfolds through a series of acrobatics, comedy, and dance set to the sounds of K-pop and western pop anthems. Tickets from £9.99.

🧶 Join a Crafty Afternoon. 10/01, Weston Heights Community Centre. Stop doomscrolling and join the Crafty Chapter Stoke instead for a laid-back afternoon of creativity. There will be a crochet expert on hand to show some simple patterns and stitches, or you can learn the Zentangle method of mindful drawing, make jewellery, or just read and chat. Catch The Curious Case of the Masked Magician. 08/02, 2.30pm, Mitchell Arts Centre. It’s 1906, the golden age of magic, but when the masked magician vanishes, Scotland Yard is baffled and calls in Sherlock Holmes to help solve the case. But when Holmes finally uncovers the startling secrets of the Masked Magician, he, Watson, and the audience have to decide if some mysteries are just better left alone. Tickets £13 adult, £11 child.
Hoorah for Cabaret! 05/02, 7.30pm, Victoria Hall. From the creative visionaries behind the world’s most iconic circuses comes Cabaret Extreme, a gorgeous spectacle of burlesque, daring drag, and contemporary circus featuring crazy stunts, storytelling, and plenty of comedy, too. Tickets from £25, over 18’s only.
🎸A Tribute to Kings of Leon & The Strokes. 17/01, 7.30pm, Eleven. Indie fans won’t want to miss this two-show evening featuring The Kings of Lyon (watch them on stage here) and the UK Strokes, (playing New York City Cops here) who frequently perform together for a night of maximum riffage. Tickets £17.
🎉 Wassail in 2026 in Barlaston. 31/12, from 9:30pm, Barlaston Village. No new year’s plans yet? Make it one to remember by going to the Barlaston Wassail, which celebrates Barlaston’s Anglo-Saxon past with a walk through the village, traditional folk drama, and a fire finale, weather permitting. Admission free.
