✍️ Get Creative in Stoke. 22/02, 10am-4pm, Stoke High Street. From getting stuck in with clay to exploring digital drawing techniques, Open Source’s Creative Days will give Stokies access to two studios, British Ceramics Biennial and Framescape, with workshops and drop-in activities at each venue and professional ceramic artists and digital artists on hand to support. Admission free, no booking required, just drop in.
⚔️ Meet Peter Pan and Friends. 19/02, shows at 11.30am & 3pm, Gladstone Pottery Museum. Expect comedy, sword fights and song and dance at this fast-paced show that’s sure to keep the kids happy this half term. The boy who never grew up is joined by his fairy, Tinkerbell, and Captain Hook as he sets sail. Admission free.
🎪 Circus By Night. 27/02, 8pm, Trentham Estate. The bold new production from Gandeys, Circus By Night, is a night of heart-pounding excitement and daring stunts, with comedian Bippo providing some light relief. Tickets £17.99, 16’s and over only.
👩🎨 Women of Wedgwood Tour. 08/03, 10.30am & 12.30pm, World of Wedgwood. To mark International Women's Day Wedgwood is celebrating the women who have contributed to the company's success over the past 260 years. The event will include a museum tour that highlights the fascinating stories of women from the Wedgwood family and introduce some of the talented artists and ‘paintresses’ from the factory. Admission £12.50.
🐵 It’s Robbie Williams! 22/02, 11am-3pm, Biddulph Town Hall. Robbie tribute act Daniel Budd and his band Eleventh Hour will have you singing along to all of our Rob’s greatest hits, from Angels to Rock DJ. Can’t make it? He’s also playing Eleven on 07/02. Tickets £19.12 (proceeds to the Mayor's Charities).
🤭 Giggles with Jason Manford. 15/03, 7.30pm, Regent Theatre. Coolly melding old school entertainment with modern comedy (check out his Liam Gallagher impression here and recent appearance at the Manchester Appollo), the comedian and presenter is in town with his show, A Manford All Seasons. Tickets from £39.61.
🎤 Johnny Cash Tribute. 01/03, 7.30pm, Mitchell Arts Centre. Set on a Grand 'Ole Opry style stage Clive John’s Johnny Cash Roadshow is now in its 20th year. It has the backing of the legendary country musician’s granddaughter, Caitlin Crowell, who says John captures him “just as he was.” In addition to hits like Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, Jackson and A Boy Named Sue, John will perform some of Cash’s later, darker material from American Recordings including Hurt. Tickets £29.
🚶 A Historic Stroll in Stafford. 18/02, 10.30am (meet at Ancient High House). Sign up for a heritage walk around the county town and see it in a new light on the Stafford Heritage Trial. Tour lasts approximately one hour 40 minutes. Tickets £5.65.
