🎉 A Toast to 2026. 31/12, 7pm-12.30am, Lunar. No NYE plans yet? There’s still time to snap up a ticket for the stylish bash at Lunar. Stoke’s landmark restaurant will be transformed from a restaurant to a venue where guests can graze on a buffet and hit the dance floor as the DJ rings in 2026. Tickets £60 per person.
💃Free Christmas Dance Workshops! 22/12, 23/12, 04/01, 11am-3pm, Mitchell Arts Centre. Join the MAC for a trio of dance events that have been put on by the Hubb Foundation. Suitable for kids aged 7-12, there’s Christmas Dance Workshops on 22/12 and 23/12 and, for the last day of the school holidays, a Great Gatsby workshop. Admission free; booking essential.
🎻 Christmas Greetings Live! 2025. 20/12, performances at 6pm & 8.30m, Stoke Minster. Join violinist Matt Glossop and The Bloomsbury Soloists as they play classics from The Nutcracker, White Christmas and more. Tickets from £32.45; under 16’s £22 (must be accompanied by a paying adult).
👹 A Monstrous Spectacle. 20/01, arrival from 6pm, performance 7pm, Middleport Pottery. In this faithful adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, award-winning actor and writer Jonathan Goodwin plays a host of characters, including Victor Frankenstein and his monstrous creation. Tickets £16.
🎨 Free Festive Family Crafts at Wedgwood. 19/12 & 22/12, 11am-2pm, World of Wedgwood. Experiment with different materials, textures and colours in this self-led workshop, where you’ll explore the V&A Wedgwood Collection and make festive decorations inspired by your fave designs. Admission free, just drop in.
🗳️ Vote on Heritage Sites. 17/12, 6pm-7pm, online. Bit of a late one, this, but if you’re free this Wednesday evening, join an online public event to help decide what Re-Form Heritage should restore – be that war memorials, fountains, murals – with the £240,252 grant it’s received from The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the city’s Centenary celebrations. Voting will open on 17/12 and run until 25/01; vote online or get a paper form from Middleport Pottery.
🇰🇷 K-Pop Live! 03/01, 6pm-7:30pm, Abbey Hulton Sports & Social Club Catch a K-Pop Demon Hunters tribute show without the big prices but with pyrotechnics, choreographed stage lighting, games and giveaways throughout plus DJ Party Roo warming up with some K-Pop hits. Tickets £5.42 adult, £16.26 under 16’s.
