🧑🎤 Robbie’s on Tour Next Year! Our Rob holds the Guinness World Record for the most concert tickets (1.6 million) sold in one day. Thankfully, there’s still chance to see his 2025 UK tour (though Co-op Live is classed as low availability so get booking). Catch him at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium (31/05); London Emirates Stadium (06/06); Co-op Live (11/06) and Bath Royal Crescent (13/06) before a date at Dublin’s Croke Park (23/08). Tickets from £76.50.
In other Robbie news, his semi-autobiographical film, Better Man, is out Boxing Day in the UK. Watch the official trailer here.
🎍Festive Wreath Making at Gladstone. 07/12, 10.30am-1pm. Want a fab wreath for your door this Christmas? You can expect easy to follow, step-by-step instructions delivered by an experienced floristry tutor at this workshop. Spots are limited, so book in advance by emailing your telephone number. Workshop includes materials, mince pie and cream, coffee and free entrance to the rest of the museum. Tickets £45.
🧶 Artisan Markets at World of Wedgwood. 17/11, 10am-4pm. Watch out for more than 30 stalls from independent makers, bakers and creators at this outdoor market, which is held on the second Sunday of every month. Next one is a two-day Christmas special (07/12 & 08/12) so you can get your presents. Admission free.
🎄Light Up Castle is Back! 24/11, 12pm-7.30pm, Newcastle High Street. The Christmas magic returns as Newcastle-under-Lyme BID host their annual switch on event. Six Towns Radio’s Dan Townley will be on the main stage located outside The Guildhall for an afternoon and evening of live entertainment before the big switch on. Watch out for a headline performance from The Big Boyband Reunion, maker stalls and fairground rides from Stanworth’s Fair. Admission free.
🎭 Three Musketeers for New Vic. Until 25/01. Take the kids to see this classic literary tale about friendship, social mobility, courage and doing the right thing by Alexandre Dumas, where four friends defend the King and Queen from treachery by tracking down a mysterious spy. Great adventure story for the fam. Tickets from £10.
🎸One Night of Elvis. 29/11, 7.30pm. Victoria Hall. Get all shook up with tribute act Lee ‘Memphis’ King, who will be portraying the king of rock ‘n’ roll at his peak Vegas Years (1969-1977), complete with extravagantly embellished nudie suits, outrageous sideburns plus an orchestra for even more drama. Tickets from £26.75.
🧑🎄 Leek’s Live Advent Calendar Returns. 01/12-2412, 4pm-6.30pm. Community arts programme OUTSIDE and local residents are set to create a Live Advent Calendar in Leek. Every morning from 01-24/12, the location of a door will be revealed on the OUTSIDE website and social media.
