🚶♂️Join a Centenary Parkrun. 14/06 & 15/06 (4-14 years), 9am, Hanley Park, Trentham Gardens, Burslem Park & Longton Park. Whether you love to run, jog, walk, or volunteer, you're invited to pull on your best lycra and lace up your trainers and be part of this special celebration. All participants will receive a commemorative centenary medal and the Lord Mayor will be in attendance at Hanley Park.
Admission free, registration at Parkrun is required to join the event.

🙏 Civic Prayer Breakfast. 07/06, 7:30am to 10am, Kings Hall. Stoke-on-Trent Day will begin with reflection as people gather for the Centenary Civic Prayer Breakfast. The event will feature a keynote by Robert Mountford, West Midlands Churches Ecumenical Officer. There’s also performances from members of the City of Stoke-on-Trent Symphony Orchestra, and the St Peter’s CofE Academy Gospel Choir. Tickets £15, including a full English breakfast.
🎭 Airing Dirty Laundry. 10/06-14/06, 7.30pm, Stoke Repertory Theatre. Set in a 1950s terraced house in Stoke, this amateur production of Dirty Laundry, directed by the very talented Deborah McAndrew, is full of intrigue, uncovering long-forgotten secrets of a family’s hidden history. Tickets £15.50, £11 concessions.
🕺 Go Vinyl Shopping. 28/06, 3pm-12am, The Backyard. At the Froot Yard Sale, you can shop for records and vintage clothing, with stalls from Wax Merchant, My Vinyl Record Box, Shaun Ellis. DJ’s Dan Muir, Stoke Ron Trent and Sam White and Wax Merchant will deliver the tunes. Admission free.
🏏 An Evening with Lord Ian Botham. 20/06, 7pm-10.30pm, Bet365 Stadium. Prepare to be regaled by a live, unsscripted show with one of the greatest English cricketers in history, who played 116 one-day internationals for his country, scoring 2,113 runs and taking 145 wickets over a 15-year test career in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Tickets from £35.
🏺Jasperware at Wedgood. 04/07, 11am-12pm; 31/07, 2pm-3pm; 29/08, 11am-12pm; 25/09, 2pm-3pm; 31/10, 11am-12pm; World of Wedgwood. Join a curator-led tour through the V&A Wedgwood Collection to celebrate 250 years of its famous jasperware and and learn how the blue colour became synonymous with the name Wedgwood. Tickets from £12.50.
⚓️Toby Carvery on the Canal. 05/07; arrive 11am for 11.30am departure from Middleport. Join a canal boat trip from Middleport Pottery to Etruria Toby Carvery where you can chill out on the waterways for 30 minutes each way with a two-hour stop to dig into lunch and dessert. Tickets £44.
