The drop-in model for the Cancer Awareness Bus is brilliant honestly, because it eliminates the friction most people face with booking healthcare appointments. When you remove that barrier, early detection rates tend to spike. I rememebr trying to book a routine checkup last year and the earliest slot was like 6 weeks out, by which point I'd moved on mentally. Making it accessible where people already are (Hanley, Bentilee, etc.) rather than forcing them to travel could genuinley shift screening participation.
Good to see the Keele Bach Choir event featured, last item before the listings, but it says 1pm when the concert is at 7.30pm, please correct urgently, thanks https://www.keelebachchoir.org.uk/concerts/spring-2026
Thanks Martin, the concert sounds great doesn't it? Thanks for your spot, now updated. I'll have to start paying you I think!

The cinema event for children seems really good. Stoke Minster is a lovely venue/ we’ve booked tickets for the Vivaldi concert
