🏴☠️ The Pirate Takeover is Back! 14/02-22/02, Alton Towers. Discover buried treasure this February half-term at Alton Towers, where the kids can live out their own swashbuckling story as the infamous pirates of Mutiny Bay take over the resort. Attractions include Seadog Starkey’s Sailing School, a Treasure Hunt across Mutiny Bay, and Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE, where you can explore the wreckage of the galleon in the bay. Tickets from £18 per person.
🎸 Back to the 90s. 10/02, 7.30pm-12am, the Quarter @ Potbank. From Blur and Oasis to the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys, the 90s was a golden age for music. Get ready to dance the night away to your fave hits of this decade with your mates at this themed night, Back to the 90s. Tickets from £7.70.
🧙♀️ Witches and Wizards. 18/02, 11am-4pm, Gladstone Pottery Museum. Performance agency Q20 Events will help you learn how to properly cast spells and incantations, give lessons in wand craft from wizards as they conduct a sorcery battle, and talk to the enchanted cauldron as it simmers away underneath the giant bottle ovens. Entry free with museum admission.
🥦 Little Dumpling King Goes Vegan! 07/01, from 12pm. Whether you’re doing Veganuary or just fancy some tasty plant-based food, get yourself booked in for LDK’s signature “huge, banging flavours” (Jay Rayner, The Observer). We always end up ordering the edamame bean dumplings and hope they’ll be on the menu.

Go see the theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning children’s television series, with an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, and new music by Bluey composer, Joff Bush.
