The UK’s Biggest Mobile Theme Park is Coming to Hanley – Here is Everything You Need to Know!
Excitement is building in Stoke-on-Trent as Funderland, the UK’s biggest mobile theme park, prepares to make its debut in Hanley this February half-term.
Work has already begun on transforming Birch Terrace car park, the site that hosts Winter Wonderland, into a thrilling fairground packed with rides, games, and delicious treats.
Running from Thursday 13th February to Sunday 23rd February 2025, Funderland promises free entry, with visitors able to enjoy attractions on a pay-per-ride basis or purchase an unlimited riding wristband for four hours of non-stop fun.
Funderland will feature exciting rides, catering to thrill-seekers and families alike. Visitors can look forward to the Crazy Mouse Roller Coaster, Red Devil, Ultimate Waltzer, Sizzler, Dodgems, Freefall, and the Haunted House. Families with younger children can enjoy classics like the Tea Cups & Saucers, Mini Flying Jets, Mini Wave Swinger, Go Gator, Toys 2 Ride, and the Around the World Train Ride. There will also be funfair favourites, including the Crazy Cage.
Food lovers will be spoiled for choice with a selection of fairground favourites, including burgers, foot-long hot dogs, doughnuts, crepes, candy floss, and slush puppies. Speciality coffees, a licenced bar and a range of traditional fairground food will also be available.
To mark its first-ever visit to Hanley, Funderland is offering a special opening night deal on Thursday 13th February, where visitors can enjoy four hours of unlimited rides for just £10.
Entry is completely free, and visitors can choose between purchasing pay-as-you-go ride tokens or opting for a 4-hour unlimited riding wristband. Tickets can be purchased from the venue box office or online at www.funderworldstoke.com.
Location & Transport: Funderland will be held at Birch Terrace Car Park, opposite Hanley Bus Station, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 3JN. Visitors travelling by car should follow the yellow AA directional signs, with the entry gate located on Lichfield Street. The closest public transport stops are at Hanley Bus Station, and the nearest train station is Stoke-on-Trent.
Height Restrictions: Some rides will have height requirements, with Go Gator requiring children under 90cm to be accompanied by an adult, and rides like the Crazy Mouse Roller Coaster requiring a minimum height of 1.15m. Thrill rides such as Air Maxx and No Limit will require riders to be at least 14 years old and 1.4m tall.
