🏺 Play at Wedgwood this Easter. 28/03, 11am-2pm. Designed for families and young visitors aged 3-7 years, Wedgwood has launched a new Play Space that showcases iconic Wedgwood designs and its key designers that features an interactive game and dress-up area. Take your little ones along to the official launch day, where Urban Wilderness will be hosting a floral headdress workshop. The new play space is also set to host free craft workshops, 'Wedgwood Wednesdays' on Wednesdays during school holidays, with the first ones scheduled for 01/04 and 08/04 from 11am-2pm. The Play Space will be open to visitors for free 7 days a week, 10am-5pm. Admission free.

🚂 The Railway Children. 14/04-18/04, Stoke Repertory Theatre. This timeless story follows the adventures of three siblings who move to the countryside after their father is wrongfully imprisoned. With their new home near a railway line, the kids embark on a journey filled with excitement and friendship. Tickets £17.25.
🎤 It’s Robbie! Kinda. 04/04, 7.30pm, Victoria Hall. It’s been 30 years since Robbie Williams released his solo single, a cover of George Michael’s Freedom. Catch Stoke-born singer Dan Budd, who will be running through Rob’s extensive back catalogue, including Let Me Entertain You, Rock DJ, and Angels. He’ll be performing the odd Take That song, too. Tickets from £29.50.
👶 Go Wild with the Little Ones. 31/03, 14/04, 19/05, 16/06, 14/07, 10.30am-12pm, Ladderedge Country Park. Staffordshire Wildlife Trust’s Wildlings is a play group where children aged 6 months to 5 years can try new things outdoors. Book here to secure your spot; they play whatever the weather, so dress suitably.
⛏️ Staffordshire Archaeology Day. 18/04, 10am-5pm, Potteries Museum & Art Gallery. We’re sure you’re gonna dig this event from Stoke on Trent Museum Archaeological Society, which includes a talk from the University of Oxford’s Michael Fradley on discoveries from aerial archaeology and landscape research in Staffordshire, and Dr Simon Davies, senior archaeological officer at Archaeology Warwickshire, who will discuss the prehistoric camps and medieval cottages found at Coton House Farm in Tamworth. Admission free – tickets here.
🚶♀️ Keele Capers. 21/03, 12pm-3pm. Organised by the Modernist Society, the Keele Caper is a chance to see the George Pace Staffordshire blue brick chapel, great sweeps of accommodation set in rolling grasslands, and some new builds in Keele’s Science Park; meet at Stoke Railway station at 12pm.
